I've shopped in the men's sections of shops since I was seventeen or eighteen. It was so liberating to walk into a store without my mum and browse clothes that I liked, that fit well, that made me feel comfortable and at ease. I don't know why, but I never thought much of it. I was there to get some new jeans and sod anyone who had a problem with it.
I'm thirty-three now and I go to the LGBT charity shop here in Atlanta [Lost N Found]. All the Atlanta gays drop their stuff off there and it is good stuff, too! Now if I could just get these Devil's Dumplings off my chest, maybe my waistcoats would fit better.
High-five, mate. Glad you're feeling comfortable in your own skin - and clothes.
