So here I am at work with my candy cane striped blouse on and a face full of fuzz. I have an electrolysis appointment after work today, so I have a day and halves worth of beard growth right now. Usually I just try to avoid getting close to people on these days, but today we are having a Christmas luncheon at work, so it going to be hard not to get close to my co-workers. Needless to say I am getting more than a bit of anxiety about it. Sometimes I think transitioning in the open wasn't my best idea    

I feel your pain... I have done electrolysis since late October and I still have too much facial hair for my liking. To make matters worse, I have slight hyperpigmentation (due to the electrolysis) which goes away after a few weeks, but it still puts the shadow there. UGH!

Thankfully I'm not 100% out at work yet but you can bet that I am getting there sooner rather than later.

 That's about when I started, wish I would of started sooner. Looks like we both have quite a few more sessions to go.

I now reluctantly have to start wearing makeup...

I totally feel your pain Stevie. I'm not doing electro, but when i have my laser treatment. I can't shave for about a week. So there has been weeks at work when i look just hideous.

I'm not "out" at work right now, so its more of just my own internal anxiety about how i feel having facial hair. But now i'm just scheduling a few days off right after my treatment and working from home on those days. (the joys of being a computer engineer)
