if you go to Zukowski's website and look at his inter-operative gallery, he has some examples of different complications with open forehead contouring.

granted he is showing probably worse case scenarios to convince you to purchase his endoscopic method rather than going to another surgeon. But i suppose these are still real examples of what "COULD" happen. I'm not sure how likely it does occur.

To be Honest, I have suffered from Sinus Infections but I still feel that my Forehead III Feminization was very much worth it.
You are a composite of all the things you believe, and all the places you believe you can go. Your past does not define you. You can step out of your history and create a new day for yourself. Even if the entire culture is saying, "You can't." Even if every single possible bad thing that can happen to you does. You can keep going forward.

Dr Zukowski also has had complications.

I am one.

When I had my FFS with him in Feb 2004, he breached my sinus cavity and later filler was introduced.

Despite attempts by him to reburr (in 2010, 2012 & 2013) the obvious bony deformity that I had over the left sinus, it regrew and eventually I had to have a major three hour revision done in October this year by the UK's NHS in London. The surgeon involved is one of the world's top craniofacial surgeons.

The surgeon also found bone paste mixed up with the soft tissue and when the forehead was opened up, a lump of material dropped out on to the operating table.

Having said that I have friends who have had FFS with Dr Z and they look great with no complications.

I am just one of the unlucky ones and it can happen with any surgeon however good they are.

Obviously I was not suitable for burring and my UK surgeon prefers the resetting method of FFS as Dr Suporn practices in Thailand. He is not keen on reconstruction because of possible complications with plates & screws etc.

Any form of surgery is risky.

Would I recommend anybody to Dr Z ... Yes is my answer.

PS. I have never had sinus infections or a runny nose so that is good.

Hi Paula! May I please ask you to elaborate on the above statement a bit?

The reason being that I have recently (2 months ago) had FFS with Dr. Z, and am overall very pleased, but there are days when I feel like my brow bone region has somehow increased in size from one week to the next. I imagine it could all be in my imagination, but I'm curious about your experience. Are you referring to the brow bone itself being capable of growing (and does anyone know if this is possible?) or just one area becoming inflamed or some other scenario?

Yes, it's true. I'm asking if it is possible for the brow-bone to grow subsequent to FFS, or if it could all be due to either swelling or an active imagination.

Dr Z uses far transfers to the forehead, so perhaps it's something to do with that?

Hiya,

As you are only 2 months post FFS with Dr Z, I feel that you should wait a few more months to see how the forehead settles down. Dr Z is an expert and master at working the soft tissues and that is why myself and his other patients look far more beaten up than other surgeon's girls. Also with his work the forehead swelling (which can disguise any problem) takes up to 6 months to go down or sometimes even longer.

So far I am happy with the work that Mr Eccles did on me this October, but I am touching wood that the bone does not regrow this time. I will await final judgement until a few more months have passed by.

If it does regrow, then it's back to the drawing board and fortunately any further revisions will not cost me anything.

So don't fret and like me, see what happens.

Merry Xmas

I haven't had a sinus infection, but I do have occasional runny nose incidents, however, it's not a big deal, as I always carry Kleenex tissues in my purse.
