posted about this in another thread, but ... getting correctly gendered in a dream for the first time! made my day. and I'm feeling great since it's christmas eve! as long as I don't have to hear my birth name too much, it's all going to be good

After two and a half years my dad finally called me she today.

Let's see...

1.My brother gave me a Christmas card with the name Luis!
2. Mom gave me a card that said "My Baby". Not ideal but better than seeing my birth name at least.
3. Uncle still doesn't know so I'm fine with getting what I got.
4. Dad and I wished each other a Merry Christmas and exchanged cards. We still have a silent treatment going but hey, I wasn't expecting anything.

I don't think any one particular thing made me happy, but I am extremely happy right now and don't really care how it happened.

At least I finally know what happiness is.

This may be nothing, but  I had to pick up an order from my daughter's school Monday.  I went to the wrong door and the building was dark except for the light in the gym.  I walked around back and found the pta president sitting by the open door (apparently I didn't know that this was the pickup point).  She smiled and asked if that was me at the front and when I said yes and apologized,  she responded "oh, don't worry,  a lot of other moms made that mistake too."

My sister decided to be in Sydney today. Spent Christmas afternoon with her and my nephew

I was informed that I would be on the driving range on Friday to practice my backing skills then on Saturday, I will be driving on the road. So, Christmas day is possibly the last day I will get to spend with my family if I pass my CDL test for a long while.

Boxing day test in front of me
Basketball to my rear
Here I am, stuck in the middle of work

I'm getting paid public holiday rates to watch sports.

Was yesterday, but I was busy:

I was in full male mode  ;D :D

Glen Munsie or Jaymee Rogers? Their tv ads seem to alternate, as if tab wasn't sure who the best one is.
Maybe they should just put everything on Gypsy??!   :)

The woman I have a major crush on smiled and waved at me today.

I found a nickel and a few pennies.

My sister brought me a tasty doughnut.

I'm home.

My partner bought me a necklace and bracelet for Christmas. When introducing us to the new neighbours (I wasn't there) she referred to me as "she", and she complimented me on the shoes I bought in the sales.

All very nice!

Spent all day painting the front today.
Painted over horrible old paint, badly done graffiti fixes etc etc.
Looks so much better.

Bit sore now.
Continue on tomorrow.

Also ordered some items online.
I still freeze doing this out of fear.
Well it's a start.
I need brave Cindy to help me.
So long and thanks for all the fish

I think I may have to come to Sydney and organise a shopping day. I'm sure Grace will join in and Catherine is back from the USA, wrangle up a few of the nervous girls, get some pretty lingerie, nice dresses and shoes, a make over and get you girls out for dinner. That will give you some confidence, girls just want to have fun (Mmm must write a song!) and it's time we all got together to let you have some  :-*
