My First Christmas as My Mother's Daughter

One last package arrived in the mail from my mother today. It was addressed to Michelle (I'm Heather Michelle but she doesn't like Heather). Inside was a card that said "Shine On, Daughter" and inside she had written "To My Daughter, Michelle."

She gave me a set of six diamond earrings and a lovely pair of satin jammies. Inside the jewelry case was a note that said "Every girl should always have an expensive set of earrings and pretty PJs for Christmas.

I was crying when she called.

Thank you all. She's been extremely supportive of me since I told her the night before I began HRT. I wasn't going to start hormones without her knowing.

I just follow her example. She's been through so much and come out stronger for it. It's an honour to be her daughter.

Must be a thing, I was the same way.  I just felt like I had to let mine know too before I started HRT.

awesome..

its a wonderful feeling when you get your mothers acceptance... hopefully u too will share some lovely mother daughter moments in the future.

I remember when my mother accepted her daughter... it was wonderful... every time she calls me "my girl".. i smile on the inside. She actually told me that she loves having a daughter to do girly things with..
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was
