Seras

Some of you want to give some feedback on some pictures? Not shaved in a day and wearing no makeup, need to get my eyebrows done and going to get a haircut before I go full time, but it could be worse :P

The lighting doesn't flatter me but that's how I look most days.

Your looking good Sera's. Very natural pics and yes, as you pointed out a few minor things like hair and eyebrows, but hey, lots of girls don't have time for this. But I think your looking fine, and your body's looking really good, nice definition on the hips.

The light doesn't flatter many of us Kiera, in fact I've decided Bree works best at night and at a certain angles lol. But your looking good. If I was to suggest anything your chin is quite pronounced and you could benefit from something to plump up your lips (filler, other stuff etc..). But your looking good, love your hair!

Part of me dosen't care as enough people are reading me as female so I've decided to go full time. But validation and helpuful advice is always apreciated. Yes I know the lighting is bad in these photos sorry

You've been looking great for a while Immortal Gypsy and still are. Only thing I wonder is your style, I mean I love it, but wonder if it may attract undue attention. I don't mean in these pics but previous ones I've seen. So great to here your full time, you go girlfriend!

First picture I've been happy with.
It's a little difficult to see in this photo Katie. From what I see your looking good. I think eyebrows could help a little. I mean it's often hard for us to achieve the arch but maybe if you see a beauty salon they may work their magic.

Girls, I'm trying to be really honest, I hope I've been that and certainly haven't tried to offend anyone. If so, I apologise.

Awww thanks girls for the feedback! Ughhh I feel so sad at my nose, it upsets me so much, have any of you noticed any change in the nose on HRT? I'm hoping mine can decrease just a tad lil, cause it's way too large and fatty.

Pinkkatie, I agree with Ataraxia! A picture so close doesn't really favor anyone. You should try taking it from another angle and more far away. I do think that you could maybe wear more feminine frames, or maybe ditch the glasses altogether? The makeup looks great, you applied it flawlessly!!

MRV35, you look amazing for pre-HRT!!! You actually pass, at least in the pictures you do!!! You still have to train makeup a bit anc remove the beard shadow but other than that, you look fab!

Thanks. That's such a confidence booster. Now I need to work on my voice, improve my makeup skills, lose more weight, and get electrosys or laser. I can't wait to improve my appearance and see how much better I can look.

@ Sakushi: Pass, you look beautiful and female.

@ Bree: What photos where we talking about? My style is very casual and I don't like make up so I'm one who tries to let their body do most of the talking. I may be harder but it is working for me so far.

@ Dani: If this was the avatar you where talking about this is me pre hrt. I'm actually looking forward to putting this coat back on in about 6 months when we have winter againn (It's a ladies coat if anyone is wondering)

No your right Immortal Gypsy, looking again your style looks fine. I somehow recall seeing more of an emo style, but I think I was dreaming or something. And great for no makeup, it's not good for your skin. Your looking good

Can I suggest something Sakushi? The clothes your wearing appear to be more androgynous than screaming female. So if you think about it as a package, whilst your face screams female, perhaps some other things are giving of male undertones. And I must ask, what surgery are you thinking about? Your looking really good and I'm not seeing anything that's yelling out 'fix me'

Ahh, that makes sense Sakushi, I'm glad your not touching your face, you really do look great. So I would imagine the look you describe may present the odd challenge for an individual in making a quick assumption of gender. I know a lot of us girls use feminine queues such as clothes or makeup to compensate or accentuate aspects of our femininity. And so not being a feminine type of girl, might be worth thinking about how you accentuate the 'girl' aspects without coming across all feminine. But honestly, looking at you I wouldn't mistake you for a boy at all.

Hi...I am pre-everything and know there's no way that I pass right now, as desperately as I want to  :'(
But perhaps I could get some tips?

I'm technically not overweight (5'6 140lb) but have a beer belly that I hate...this is my best effort to suck it in and stand straight...

And my face from a few nights ago...

Naomi, for pre-everything you're not too bad at all.  Your hair is magnificent, you have a soft and round face, and there's literally nothing major in your photos that stands out as being a problem.  Your body is also pretty feminine right now as it is - you're small and have a curvy figure.  Many of us would kill to start from where you're starting!

For the sake of giving you some practical advice rather than merely impractical (but deserved) praise, here's two places to focus your efforts: On January 2, call a laser hair removal clinic and start working on that beard.  Looks like laser will be very effective judging by your coloring, and it's a cheap way to greatly increase your chances of passing.  Second, the eyebrows are thick and masculine; start working on thinning and shaping them - easy to do, and again something that will hugely increase your ability to pass.

Then get yourself to your doctor and work on snagging some hormones.  With very little work and even less money, you'll be able to pass.

I think you definately have potential. Eye brows and facial hair are the biggest thing and practicing make-up is always good too.
