I was initially having a pretty difficult time at actually losing weight...I would work out, but would just pretty much maintain my same weight. However, here are some things that helped me (along with working out a few times a week):
- Definitely cut out soda and other sugar rich drinks and stick with water.
- Also, I find that portion control is very important...easiest way to deal with portion sizing is to pre-portion meals and try to be strict about not eating more than one portion (even though it may sometimes be difficult) hahaha.
