I missed the option to sign up for the schools ski club, and it seems like it may have been a good idea. My friend, Jordan, is in ski club and couldn't get me in tonight. Her mom works at the neighboring hill, so she invited me to go along with her, her mom, and her sister to the hill. Here's the part that surprised me, made me nervous, then made me extremely happy.

For a time, her mom had only heard of me as Vulynn and known me as a girl... up until tonight.

The night went like this:
-Jordan contacts me and tells me about the lack of people at the mountain, I start to tell her how I wish that I could be there.

-She then tells me about how she is going with her mom to the hills next sunday, then invites me.

-I'm talking with her, and then it hits me... her mom is going to be expecting a girl only to find a pre everything transgirl.

-I stopped everything, I was really scared that the day would be ruined by a technicality.

-I asked her how she brought me up to her mom, she said that she told her Vulynn was coming.... then she told me that she informed her about my situation. She's totally fine with it and I'm still welcomed.

So now, I'm going out for the first time being referred to only as Vulynn... as well as a known pre everything transgirl. I am extremely excited for this, I really can't wait! Just hope our moms don't want to meet beforehand, my mom doesn't know a thing about me being Vulynn.

I see her wings, now I'm not cold
The fear is gone, and I am ready to move on

They're going to call me Vulynn and refer to me as a girl, but atm I cannot really present female in many other ways than how I act.

What a big disappointment that will be for you.

Not really, going from being called a boy and by my birth name to being called a girl and by my chosen name is something I've been looking forward to. I guess I can see what you're saying, but I have to finish off my senior year in as I am, mainly because I live in an intolerant area.

I agree Vulynn.
It is a big step to be accepted as a girl even if you present otherwise. It shows that they accept you for who you really are.
Good for you.
