Thank you for the reminder Toni.  I run into the obsessive behavior over weight more often than I care to talk about.  Getting healthy is far more important.

Hmm. Stuck at 170. But to be fair I haven't been exercising. Doctor's appointment to start hormones on 2/10/15 ...... so I have some work to do before then.

Preface to myself:

I need to lose at least 40 lbs, preferable 60, for my own desired body image and for the upcoming SRS. (Sometime in late 2015)

My goal is to do this in 6 months (16 June 2015) by reducing calories, portion control, and walking (with some light running as play, not a pursuit). Ideally, I'd like to walk 3 miles a day (which is about an hour's worth) in addition to cutting out nearly all sodas (except 1/week).

For now, I will use this BMI calculator, just because I found it on Google and it is easy to use (and for consistency).

Current Stats as of 16 Jan:

Height: 6' 0"
Weight: 243.8lbs
BMI: 33.1
Waist measurement: 46"  :(
Bra band size: 48"

Weigh ins will be on Friday (weeks begin Sat, end Friday)

360+  at my highest weight when I found out I was type II. Went to 340 from ketosis, then with off and on half-hearted efforts over ~6 years to get to 300 on 1/21/2014. That is when I came out to myself and started to care about living again and things became absurdly easier. My daughter attributes it to living honestly, which makes life easier in the ways that matter most.
