ok. if your concerned, just make the phone call to your doctor.
ill relate my experiance, though it does not intend to advise you, it shows we all go through those early post op stages of panic.
' my srs was old school. schrang two stage. 7 days on my back in the hospital post op. 5 more in the motel recovering. once home, a full two weeks out, it honestly looked like someone has used a hatchet on me.
another week, and skin was falling off, litteraly.
you talk about panic.
i called schrang. he chuckled and said, girl, go relax, averything is fine.
the first 6 months it looked nothing like i had imagined. it was splayed open, looked like a glorified gash. nothing seemed to be where i expected it to be.
i returned to schrang for the second step, labiaplasty just after the 6 month mark.
he went in, worked some magic in an out paitent procedure.
a month later, he called and asked how it looked now.
needless to say, picture perfect. the one minor flaw was the loss of a very small peice of skin on the labia, but that presents no problems, and over time, is not noticable at all.
i beleive, to some extent we all have those panic moments after surgery. the absolute best thing you can do is talk to your doctor. email hm pictures, stay in communication with him. follow his expert advise. If something is array, in time you can have it corrected.
