I haven't really put a lot of time into training my voice, mainly due to never being alone at home. I'd feel silly doing exercises knowing that someone could be listening in. I downloaded one of those EVA apps for Pitch, and it's been helpful here and there, when I have rare moments to play around with it. BUT, I must be doing something right, because a friend of mine came over a few hours ago, and one of the first things he said was, "Wow. Your voice has CHANGED." The thing is, I really don't pay much attention to that during casual conversation. I wouldn't say my voice is passable, yet, though. One thing that seems to have changed after a couple months of HRT is my prosody. It's like oestrogen does something in the part of the brain responsible for language causing me to speak with a new rhythm and intonation. Does anyone else have a similar story where your voice has sort of evolved of its own accord?
