Finally found a transport co. that wasn't all booked up and was able to take me to my endo appointment  :icon_joy:  Just in the nick of time too

My appointment went well and the Dr. upped my dosage and wrote out new scripts to last through another year  8)

Badass!  Enjoy the fresh girl juice, V M.

I'm curious, when does that "new girl smell" start to wear off?

Thank you Jill  :icon_chick:  LOL... Never, my armpits still smell like fresh cut flowers

For the first time in my life, I was able to pass by all the mirrors and windows I have to deal with at work and love what I saw looking back. I don't know what's changed, but all day long I've been seeing the woman I know I am looking back at me - I even giggled and "shhh"d myself at one point, like I was telling someone else "don't tell anyone!"

I was talking with my mom and sent her a picture of myself as I was talking to her. Here is what she replied with:

Wow that is beautiful Sydney! One of the best of you I've seen.

Moms are awesome. Mine is fully accepting of me. She even wanted me to travel to London with her, but I will visit in the summer instead.

Totally jealous. My mother refuses to acknowledge me as female.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe you will get lucky and she will in time. My mom acknowledges it, but because of the dementia tends to mess up on my name and gender sometimes. It's not her fault, but that's what 2 strokes can do. I hope someday your mom comes around and acknowledges it. Hugs

Talked to the recruiters today about a new job.

Makes me feel better taking some control and not being at the mercy of faceless middle managers looking to sack everyone.

Should be a very valuable catch for a prospective employer.

I hadn't been a member of Costco for a few years now and I went to rejoin today for the first time since transitioning and I fretting over the fact I thought I would either have to show the old card to get in or to get a new membership. Turns out I didn't have to show the card at all and was able to join like I had never been a member before leaving all the history of the old account behind just as it should be. Needless to say I was a happy Camper.  ;D

I scheduled my first electrolysis appointment for a 2 hour trial session.    :D

Scheduled an appointment with a plastic surgeon to look at my nose and hopefully fix a persistent breathing problem.   ;D

My father (parents have been divorced since I was 13) does't acknowledge me as female so I know how that feels. He hasn't really acknowledged me at all in the last year and a half since I came out to him. My mother and step-father have more than made up for it though :)

Hugs to you though, hopefully your mom will come around.

I've lost enough weight that my boobs don't look like fat guy pecs. :)

Talim, hun, if my hair looked like yours in that avatar pic, I'd never be unhappy again.
