I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing much better than I was last weekend. I had some wonderful support from people here who sent me messages here or on Skype. I talked to a crisis hotline the night I cut myself and Thursday asked my GP for something for the depression and anxiety so we decided on Celexa. Like most SSRI meds it needs to have adequate serum levels to really work but I started it last night and already feel better. All this past week I kept seeing "him" looking back at me from the mirror but this morning Heather was there and there was no trace of him at all. I stopped feeling like this was all a big farce and realised again that I can do this.

Thank you all for the support. This is why I come here, because of our members. I love all of you.

Glad to hear you're doing better 🙂 I'm headed in the direction you were at right now. Haven't had running water in days due to cold weather, so I haven't been able to shave...and seeing 'him' is getting harder NOT to do. Fortunately, my water's back on, so I'll be seeing Julia again in no time 🙂

I messaged you my number. Calling now might not be so good as I took the new med which does knock me loopy as well as a narcotic painkiller because of the nasty fall I took today. I'm not quite all here right now so conversation could be very interesting or kind of surreal. 

So glad, I'm happy there is a medical solution and that you were able to take advantage of it so quickly.  Kudos to your doctor, and to you for taking your own initiative to get better.  The best fuel to help insure a good day is a 'happy' morning.  Lets see, there was a popular 60's saying "Better Living Through Chemistry" (they might have been talking bout something different).     Dani

Hehe. I think they were talking about something a wee bit different but I still like it. I just use the legal chemistry!
