I thought I might make a thread to post lyrics and poetry and stuff.
I'm not the greatest at this, but I'm trying   So...here's some stuff~

Paper Faces

In a ring we sink
into the well of emotions
making the motions of life
but feeling dead while laying
side by side
together in our bed
where we wait for
it all to end
in ice or in fire,
alone together, now,
thinking of the
life we could have had
if only we had
known ourselves
but instead we spent our time
with your hand clenched
tight within mine
wearing painted smiles
with paper faces
and hollow eyes
hiding what's inside
in boxes chained by
our delusions
and the illusion dies
tears flow from our
eyes unhindered
as we start to feel
and question what is
real and what is fake




If I ever record it, I'll post it here, too, I think.

spoiled years and years ago
