I rode my nephew's kick scooter today and it was so much fun! I was like over 100 over the weight limit, but it still rode relatively fine for me. I was too scared to serious attempt tricks on it, but I just like the ride. At first glance, I was happy that I didn't buy an adult version, because I had some balance issues at first, especially with plans of possibly going to a skatepark, but now, even since that park is closed, if I had the option to go and buy a scooter for it, I still would ave strongly considered it. I may never be some awesome xtreme person that can do awesome tricks, but I would like to be the guy that just rides. Riding a kick scooter takes a lot of stamina too. Going uphill became a killer. There's no way I would take that thing and ride it long distance if there were several uphills. Riding down them sure would be fun though, if the cracks and bumps were not that bad. I would ride it on flat land with minimal hills. I still might buy a scooter one day, just to ride in the house, but I cannot mentally justify buying one at this time, especially since I'm trying to curb my spending habits....
