Hi,

The subject says it all.   We need to market ourselves.  To make ourselves better known to the world at large.

     Any ideas?  I expect results.

Pat from SNL, avoid that.

That is all I can add here, sorry :(

Hmmmm, then EVERYONE will want to be an androgyne! It will become the next IN thing ::)

Seriously, what it might take is for a high profile person to publicly come out as androgyne instead of TS, either in a situation like a city manager getting fired, or a famous actor or musician.... Any takers?

"we may be here
we may be queer"

I'm not good at this.  I like what you all are doing, though.

i was going to make a video, but i don't want to put it on youtube, my uncle looks at my youtube profile all the time and I can't be asked to explain such intricacies to him.

What if you write it and then send the script to volunteers who can do the recording and make changes according to your wise directions?

Do we need to brand ourselves too?  What does that mean?  Like a logo and a tagline or something?

We can use Tee shirts and beach towels to get our message out there.  Some patches for jackets and maybe some wall decorations.

gotta go

made an alternative channel,

picaVpica... Any andro's got videos they want to send. Or scripts. Or bits of videos we can splice together to make a big conference call.

My first one. 'We Are Normal (and we want our freedom)'.

Possible advertising slogans...

- Boys will be boys and girls will be girls, but only the best get to be both

- Excuse me ma'am, but can you trim your beard?  It's keeping me from staring at your tits

...and since you can't go much further downhill from that last one...
- Andro-gin, because the best drinks are mixed

Hiding while everyone throws things at me......Laurry

P.S. Please forgive my gratuitous usage of the slang term describing the feminine chest, but other terms just didn't have the humorous impact.

P.P.S.  If you think these are bad, please remember the writers are all on strike and I couldn't get anyone to vett these jokes

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

We need a decent wikipedia entry, androgyne is a small paragraph in an article about androgyny, which re-enforces that mistake that androgynes are androgynous.

I so agree, i wouldn't mind writing one, my problem is just that english isn't my first language, so there would probarly be a lot of spelling mistakes, but it would be so interesting making an entry about it!

Actually, I would really like to write a book about it, but I don't know that I have enough resources/knowledge to do it.  Hmmm...we could all write one together!

What if one of us begins the entry.  The rest of us could add comments or suggest changes for the initial person to add.  OR,  one of us starts the entry and then several of us make the changes as the rest make suggestions and the potential changes go thru a process of review and approval.

The point of review and approval is to prevent repetition  and to ensure clarity.  It is not meant to dullen someone's point of view or to stifle dissenting voices.

I'm kind of serious about this stuff.  I say 'kind of' because nothing in my past has prepared me for moving ahead on one of my ideas.  I am hoping to overcome that passivity.

Hey,

The only reason I haven't done it is because wikipedia scares the hell out of me. I reckon us lot are the closest thing the world has to experts on androgynes.
