What is the Criteria for accessing a referral for GRS in the U.S.A?

I am very long term TS and have been living RLT for quite a few years now but was turned down by the London NHS GIC clinic in 2006 for a referral for GRS. I questioned the reason why I had been turned down for the referral for surgery and they would not give me an answer. I have complied with the HBSOC, lived more than 5 years RLT and complied with all other protocols relating to surgery yet I am in a position when I can't get GRS because I don't have a referral.

How easy in the U.S.A is it to get a referral?

Try this person, she will do it over the phone, etc, and doesn't cost too much. I've talked to her (long ago) and I have a friend that talked to her, too. I got my first carry letter from her, before I could get into see a doctor up here, since I was living most of the time.

She's also TS, and a nice person to talk to. I have no idea where I put her email address. I think she's somewhere on my msn, but I've got so many people on there I don't know which person is which anymore. I'm not sure how current my info is, since it's pretty old [updated the her website might say something].

Wow, gee, see if I help you again. I was just offering a suggestion, but you've always got to be so negative towards me. It was just a suggestion, you don't have to be so spiteful all the time.

It's not being negative or spiteful at all but getting a referral over the phone is absolutely crazy and dangerous. The U.K NHS would not except it at all and it has to be from a reputable psychiatrist in the U.K with the right qualifications. The U.K has very strict regulations with their laws regarding surgery.

I'm not saying she's going to give you a referral or not, but she is registered in the UK and could refer to someone in the UK. Sometimes people know other people. That's how I found good doctors up here.

What is her U.K address if she's registered in the U.K?
