Hi all,

I've been on hrt for about a year. Now I never had much muscle to start with and what I had in my chest has pretty much gone, but there's some muscle on my back that hasn't shifted much, and I was wondering if anyone else had seen any big changes in that area after the first year? I know ymmv etc but it'd just be interesting to know.

It's just a few bits towards the middle mainly, at the top of my shoulder blades, plus the muscles that run up to the base of my neck. It's bevause in my denial days I did too much swimming!

Thanks :)

I'm at my 3 year mark and it went away after about 2 years. I went down a few band sizes so I doubt It'll get any smaller, who knows though. I didn't have much either but most of what muscle I did have was in my back. I'm happy its all gone since everything fits so much better now. Also my shoulders don't look as broad as they used to. They're like girly wide if that makes sense lol, basically everything softened and rounded out really well.

I've been on HRT for about two years. I'm still seeing shrinkage on back muscles.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

So there's hope for me yet! They aren't a massive concern, I'd just like them to be smaller, so I can wear more tops with a bit more confidence. Strangely enough there's not much info on the web about how to lose muscles, everyone seems to be trying to get more!! Who'd have thunk it.

For me pretty much from head to toe muscle loss.  I have about half the strength and i didn't have much to start with.  I struggle with just about everything that requires effort.
