Hey so I'm completely new here, and new to... All this. It's really wierd to find a community like this and have more to talk to than just my conflicting thoughts :) cheers guys. Anyway here's my entry, if you want to call it that, given that I've only just admitted it to myself that I feel this way (I'm 19 at this point having known something was up since early, high school) let alone anyone else- so we'll leave that for now. :P
I guess my question is "eventually could I pass", and do you guys have some tips and steps to help me out? I'm very much in the closet at he moment but I did buy my first female clothes today C: just some leggings and a tank top, nothing fancy. Anyway enough! Here's my pic.

Ok well you need to try some make up don,t go overboard, and do not think that you will do that later, you need to start practicing as soon as possible. Pluck the eyebrows, maybe you can somewhere to get them done, it will be easier, if it's your first time... You're young enough to get great results with hrt. Also relax your face, you kind of look very intense, it's not really a feminine thing. Good luck with your transition!

I am sure I pass when people watch my body, but still not sure about my face.
I am not on HRT.
Do I look female or male?

You look very femme in this picture. If you wanted a 100% yes or no though, I'd suggest making a quick video of yourself doing something natural. We, as perfectionists, tend to post only the best of the thousand pictures we took today. A video won't let you hide anything. Just my opinion. But furthermore; I've seen quite a lot of your pictures around the forum. And still, I say you easily pass. If I'd seen the girl I see in these photos on the street I wouldn't even think twice.

Recent bunches of pictures! Had a blast taking them! Wondering what everyone thinks. (other than I'm turning into a camera whore lol)
Still pre-HRT. Now full time at home and around friends/family. Still too scared to go out in public yet. Getting more confident with my makeup though :D

I asked some of my old friends on this photo, and they are just busy teasing me.

Anyway, I think it is a good idea to take a video. Usually, I take videos only for my kids, and now it is my turn. I have a nice camcorder, but right now I do not. Instead, my camera can take a video clip. As you know, I am not good at video editing. Just a crude video clip.

Hun, you pass. Even moreso in the video than in any of your pictures. Your face is VERY femme :)

Alana, you're a really nice looking lady! I think you can quite pass already, you have a feminine hairstyle, and when you will get on hrt it will be even better! Good luck on your transition!

Thank you Lady's!

Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

Ok , for the past few weeks when I'm out running I get the impression that I'm being seen by some as my correct instead of birth gender.  It's nothing overt but more just a feeling based on body language and such.  So, here are a few pics from earlier today.  (I'm 55 so not looking to be compared to a beauty queen, LOL)

Do you think my perception might be right or is it all wishful thinking?  I've been on HRT for 2 months and will be loosing about 20 more pounds.  I'm also just a bit under 5'11".

LOL, in this one my stomach looks huge.

Here's one from after.  I met a couple of ladies I used to run with and they said they hardly recognized me with my hair getting longer.  It used to be really short.

Barbie, I only noticed you walking, with only two steps in your video. Shorten your stride a little. Otherwise, you look great.

Deborah. Yes, let your hair grow out some more. I'm only a bit under 5' 10" and I like to wear 2.5 to 3 inch wedges with jeans and slacks. I don't worry about my height. No one else seems to mind either.

Rotika, the last shot in the blue light does not do you justice. I think you are coming along quite nicely. You have hips like mine! None. Wear hip huggers if you can get away with it. They seem to be in style now.  But you probably already know that. Also, I really like your smile as opposed to your little pout. ;)

Ok here goes nothing. I'm a bit scared to do this but I have decided to post a photo for the first time. I will no longer be faceless. So be nice. I am not out and have been working on losing weight so I put up a pic of me in December 2014 and some from now with make up and some fake hair. I have lost 25lbs since. I know I don't pass, but is there hope with the foundation you see. Either way here goes nothing.

Stephee, I think I was about in your position. I assume you still have a beard? Do you think it shows in the pictures? I don't know if it is the lighting or five o'clock shadow. I think you'll have a very pretty face. How much do you currently weigh? The last shot is my favorite.

Here's my advice and it's free so it's worth every penney.
You have a nice smile. Use it.
Your eye makeup works but I'd go lighter on your cheeks. Perhaps it's because you are using a lot of foundation? It's hard for me to tell.

Here's a trick I used to use to make my face look more slender. Lightly apply a light color on your upper cheek, a darker color towards the center, the third and just a tad a bit to the rear and below the middle color. Then I'd find a brown powder and ever so lightly go from the bottom of my ear forward  about an inch and a half. Experiment how far to go down. Brown will sort of provide a slimming effect so you can use it anywhere you want. But here's the thing. Use it sparingly!

Finally, when you do decide to go out, make sure to go to your favorite wig place and have them cut and style the wig for you. This took me two stupid years to figure out. I went through hell with the cheap wig look and people making fun of me. Make sure you ask them how to take care of it and keep it styled correctly. I bought a fairly expensive wig and got sort of a punk/Joan Jet cut that I really liked. It did NOT look punk on me. It looked great. Once I had that piece, I started passing easily in public. I had dark hair back then now it's blond. Go figure.

Another point about wigs. Try to get one to match your real hair color. Or dye your hair to match your wig. Brush some of your natural hair in front up into the front of the wig's hair. If you can do that right in front, no one will ever know you are wearing a piece.

Chin up.

Cindi,
Thanks for the honesty. Yes probably some shadow in there. I used to weigh 320, im now down to 294. Years of repression and depression will make you eat to feel happy. I know I am a fat guy, around 5.8 or so. But Iam working on it...I like your make up tips, I can use them. Also the wig thing, is a huge help. Thanks for the smile thing, it helps.

Yes. It is easy and funny to make a video clip. I am thinking shooting outdoors, as it is spring.
Probably today lunch time.

Hahaha, you look a bit like a more fem Mic Jagger!  Good eyes, pretty good face all around; I'd contour a bit just to soften your face up, but you're doing pretty damn good if you ask me.
My gender problem isn't half as bad as society's.  Although mine is still pretty bad.
