After a long bit of waiting, I finally met with my endocrinologist last week and had my bloodwork done, and this afternoon he gave my prescription to start HRT. I've been excited for this moment for so long. With my court hearing for my name to be legally changed coming up next week, I have a lot going on this week and the next. It feels amazing to finally truly start my journey towards transitioning into the person I've always wished to be. I know HRT isn't a producer of miracles or a factory of feminisation for everyone, but I'm really hoping I start to see some subtle but real changes in the months to come.
A new stage begins.
