When you dream are you the same genders as you have, are, or plan to transition too?

Yes and I have completed my transition
No and I have completed my transition
Yes and I am transitioning
No and I am transitioning
Yes and I have not started transitioning
No and I have not started transitioning
No I never am a gender in my dreams
Sometimes I am one gender and other times I am the other

I seems I have always dreamed, that is the ones I can remember, that I was male in my dreams.
This has really bothered me and that is why set up this poll.
Last night was different I dream that I was TS and wanted to wear my female clothing and did.
So I guess reality is finally entering my dreams. So I guess my subconscious is coming around.
Now if only I could be the woman that I really am in my dreams. That would be wonderful.
Thanks everyone for your answers. It has been real interesting so far.
:)

Oddly enough, until I began to transition, I was almost exclusively female in my dreams.  But as i began to transition, I started to be TG in my dreams too...  No escape even in my dreams anymore  :P

I had a long and detailed dream last night where I was out shopping dressed in a long brown skirt and boots with a form fitting scoop neck knit top and shoulder bag. I was with others and was being treated as a woman. I misplaced my bag in a store and started to run back to where I had left it. In a flash, I stopped as I realized that a women would get a lot of attention if she was running. At other times, men came over to talk to me and treated me in a very friendly way but also signaling a kind of superiority over me. One took me by the arm so as to move me out of the way of someone passing by. We got back into the car and a door was opened for me in the back. I got in and looked down at my beautiful skirt and medium heeled boots.
When I woke up, I felt both wonderful and terrible. The wonderful is that I knew how it would feel to finally live as me. The terrible is that, in real life, I cannot.

I can't remember that I'd ever seen a dream where I'd be really me, like I see myself as a neutrois. And I see only nightmares. In some of those I'm kind of stepping back in time and getting more and more girly again. In some other dreams I'm a male and at first I'm almost happy with myself, but then things always start getting wrong and in the end I die in some very violent way.

I'm not really sure if my dreams are genderless or not, I rarely remember that part. I know when I dread about love or sexual encounters, tehy are always with a girl/woman, but thats just my sexuality. I neverdream about my gender really, which is odd I suppose, or not, after all, I am androgynous for hte most part, perhapse thats how my dreams reflect that.

One thing I do know is that when I think, or when I dream, my voice is feminine, which is why my actual voice shocks me when I hear it back, being horridly masculine still. my thoughts and dreams always seem to have a more feminine than masculine lilt to them though...

To answer correctly I'll have to see if I can remember a dream tonight and then relay the info :P

Unfortunately, I had only one VERY vivid dream of being a girl. It's was my sophmore year of H.S. and I spent a lot of time napping / sleeping trying desperately to have that dream over and over again, or at least continue the story.

I still do that a lot lately since coming to terms with my gender issues and begining to transition. My day-dreams, however, I'm female but that's not fair I guess concerning the topic here.

The "Dream World", sometimes I rather just stay there ya know? In there, I look like I want to, I AM who I want to BE. I'm accepted, loved, HAPPY. It's easier there, I'm already a girl, not having to go through all of this to be one.

Journeys completed, no struggle, no fuss.

I'm generally not aware of being any gender in my dreams. Many years ago I had a very profound dream in which I saw myself as a mix of genders, containing physical attributes of both sexes, that dream was an important moment in awareness of myself as trans/androgyne.

I'm female or nuetral.

I always do a lot of 3rd party dreaming where I'm not even involved. The camera-'man' of the dream. Last night I watched an imaginary large building fall down from a bunch of angles.

Tell me more? I'm rather curious about what happened.

Lucid dreaming is difficult to do when you're on a whacky schedule. :(

I did it all the time as I was growing up. I taught myself how to do it in desperation of wanting to be female. It's great since you can do WHATEVER you can imagine if you have enough control.

When I was a little kid I always dreamed of myself as male or as switching bodies with my male friends. That stopped around seven years old, I think.

Recently, I've been having lots of dreams, almost every night, in which I'm male, sometimes as the feminine pretty boy that I more or less live as now and sometimes as the hyper-masculine, hunky Marine. XD

I had a dream last night and I think I was male in it which I found quite distressing.

Usually, as far as I can tell, I have the same body I always do, but I don't notice my genitals at all in most (all, possibly...) of my dreams.  So possibly male (because I'm not constantly aware of my genitals in real life either...thankfully) and possibly neutral.

Occasionally I'm female, or watching a character (as if I'm watching a movie in my dream) who is female and with whom I identify.
