I've been on estrogen for nearly 17 months and my breasts have been at least mildly achy the whole way through.  Inevitably this has led to some shockingly painful incidents.  From time to time when this topic comes up for discussion we hear a lot about doors or door frames.  I, however, would like to hear the weirdest, most foolish and unexpected/unlikely ways you've hurt your 'youngsters'.  I'll go first:

  Tonight when I got home from work I removed my jacket and then reached for the switch to turn off the porch light.  I must have built up quite a sizable static charge taking off my jacket because as my hand touched the metal switch cover I received a massive shock.  I pulled my hand back reflexively so fast that I smashed myself square in the right boob really hard.   Ouch-ouch!  That was two shocks in less than a second - possibly a new record?  Stupid!  Then my mom asked me what all the noise was about...

  Ok, so you get the idea.  Now let's hear your strangest tales of woe!

Early in transition, I was drying myself after a shower...stepped out of the tub to dry my feet, put one on the side of the tub and bent down "Oh DAMN!" as I squashed my left boober on my thigh.

I said I'd never do that again...silly me, I know it takes several such incidents to make the learning stick.

Lol. Just closing a fridge door in a shop. My scream brought the shop owner running out from the back. [emoji1]

The soap suddenly slipping out of my hands in the shower and hitting me directly on the left nip.

Tripping over the dog and collecting the kitchen bench top with my left boob, cracking a rib and being in agony.

Anyone want a dog skin coat?

Opening a door the wrong way (it didn't open) hand sliding off the door handle and then punching my self on my right boob.... that hurt for a few hours! But I got over it.... hmm maybe that's why they are a little smaller than I'd have hoped, always doing silly things that puts my boobs in "smacking" way...

I hit my boobs by accident all the time. But I think the stupidest ways that they hurt are the ones that are completely independent of my involvement. Like turning in bed, climbing stairs or getting up too quick.

Although I do have to admit that it took me a while to learn how to cross my arms in a way that I don't smash them. I had a particularly painful and memorable experience in the line at burger king, which was pretty absurd at the time.

Hmm.  Yesterday I received a big parcel in the post, which I hoisted on to my knee after lunch so that I could open it.  I opened the first box and inside there was a second box.  I opened that, and there was a third box inside (so far, so very matryoshka :p) -- with a handle.  Somehow I didn't clock the handle, so I undid the clasp of that third box and tilted the whole package up... at which point the lid of the inner box (complete with handle) flipped open and the contents slid forward and hit me square on the right nipple.  >.<

The one that gets me all the time is picking up my 1-year-old. It's getting to be a familiar habit--pick up, recoil, recover, play with kid.

She also co-sleeps with my wife and I sometimes, and has this habit of rolling around and kicking me in the chest in the middle of the night. Not a nice way to wake up at 3am.

Wow, there are some pretty 'awesome' stories out there!  OMG Cindy and LordKAT - I'm laughing and cringing all at the same time!

  Another incident of mine was while shopping for a shower curtain rod.  The display had all the rods standing up.  It was set up so they couldn't fall forward.  I didn't notice that a shorter one was sitting off balance in a slot that would not trap it.  The three-foot long rod fell forward, reaching maximum velocity as it arced 90 degrees and the one end perfectly struck my nipple as it continued to fall to the floor before I had time to react.  Of course my reaction by then was no-longer one of catching but one of cradling... my boob!  Ahhh!   I don't often swear, but when I do... $#@&*!!!

..I'm either going to have to get a LOT better at this toy or stop playing with it altogether.

For the longest time I felt like my chest was on fire almost all the time. Also anything hitting in that area hurt like hell. Then it went down to just an hour or two an hour after taking my pill. Then it went down to nothing. I also noticed they weren't sensitive anymore and I stopped trying to protect my chest. Recently I noticed a tingling sensation an hour after taking my pills. I managed to bump my chest since I didn't care and guess what? They are super sensitive again. I guess they just took some time off.

mmm, mostly when just forgetting about them really >.>, e.g. when taking off tighter clothing.

Ooooo that sent a shudder running down the length of my spine.  And here I was thinking it was bad enough when my cat jumped onto my chest when I was asleep.

That's what gets me when the cat or dog jumps up.

Yeah my dog loves to jump up on me and it usually involves claws to the chest. To make things worse I'm watching my parents dog and my dog's behavior is rubbing off on her. So now every day I get home I get greeted by both dogs jumping up and clawing my boobs.
