I have unlocked this, Devlyn you carried it just a little too far. I am removing your last post. Erisrenee, Devlyn's hug is just something she does. Consider no more than a forum signature, and ignore it as such if you like.

It's all good. I got a bit defensive, as I said. I'm sorry.

> NOT OK: Sharing links with your friends or coworkers and asking them to vote.

While you're not explicitly asking for votes, you are asking for participation which implies votes. I know people permabanned for less.

I didn't imply anything beyond what my message stated. I also did not act in secret. I have forums that only staff can read, and I could have easily posted this there. Again my posts and my actions will stand on their own.

Not everyone on this site is my friend, not everyone on this site likes me, not everyone on this site would write positive things about the site.

I didn't ask for that. I simply invited people from this site to discuss their experiences.

In addition, it is against sub->-bleeped-<- rules (http://www.<filtered>.com/r/<filtered>/wiki/rules) to link the sub->-bleeped-<- on outside sites for noneducational/informational purposes. By linking the sub->-bleeped-<- you are violating that rule as well, and inciting drama.

The moderators of the sub->-bleeped-<- are aware of my post. I have contacted them several times. That being said my web site polices have no effect beyond my site, and neither does theirs.

That is something that is not tolerated here. No one on this site gets harassed.

I have removed people's ability to contact someone privately because they sent an abusive message. It won't happen on the public forums simply because the moderators will not allow it to.

Every message public or private contains a report button. If someone receives a message that they feel violates the tos or is even questionable they should report it

It doesn't matter, your post was deleted from the sub->-bleeped-<- since it disobeyed the rules, as I said. You might not see it as deleted, since the poster can still see the content they posted, after it's been deleted. If you log out, you'll see that the contents of your post has been deleted, and the post is no longer viewable from the frontpage. The personal attacks were also deleted from the thread.

Personal attacks and abuse are unacceptable on the sub->-bleeped-<-s as well, there are just not enough mods to enforce the rules.

Doesn't bother me it's a cesspool. I will not refer anyone to there including from my links directory. It doesn't exist. I think I will be starting a anti-<filtered> thread very soon.

QuoteI found the site helpful. I am talking to a therapist now. As far as passing goes I have found it to be irrelevant to happiness. Some people pass well and aren't happy while others will never pass and love their lives. I think all the internet sites help.

That's it exactly Toni! You have to live your life for yourself. What other people think does not matter, unless you care about their opinion. Negative comments say more about the person saying them then the person they are directed towards.

Was voted down at least 5-10 times, It went from positive 6 to 0 to positive 2 and back to 0 again.  If that happened on here the people who gave the negative reputation point would have gotten it back doubled, or lost the ability to issue reputation; not because it was my post, but because they abused the reputation system.

Yet they have the gall to criticize this site...

I just went through and deleted every main thread that mentioned the specific site except this one. I can't edit it out of every reply; but I have made it so it will show <filtered> in every public or private message instead of advertising a place that allows blantant abuse like that.
