Turns out I have $5k in the bank instead of the initial $3.5k I thought I had. Top surgery is sooner than I believed?

I just watched the Mrs Brown video supporting the equal marriage vote in Ireland this May, both funny & heartwarming at the same time.

After some conflicting information I finally had to take my final driving test at Celadon. I was really sweating it because I never backed in right when I was with my trainer.

I nailed it!

So, I'm  no longer quite a rookie. ^_^

My band won the "Battle of the Bands" at my school We went nuts, and our singer shaved his head on stage.

Too bad he had such luscious hair. It was jet black and flowed down to his shoulders. But now he looks super metal bald \m/

Got a birthday card from my partner's father (he's 88 and only became aware I was trans about two months ago) - it was in pink and purple and spoke about how a woman can never have too many shoes, or handbags! Inside the envelope was the wherewithal to go out and hit the shops!!!

Went out today (day off!) - got eyebrows done, and back waxed. For the waxing she told me the hair was "sparse", so it was only half price. And........all ma'ms and madams with no hint of sir.

Been a good day so far! 

Well, this was yesterday but it still made me happy.

I was carded for a Duff Beer at Moe's Tavern and the bartender had a hard time believing I was 46.

No, I didn't imagine this.   They really have a Moe's at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Not much makes me happy these days but a friend said something really nice to me. I told her that she did a great job on something and she said thank you, that she worked so hard to make it nice, and that I was "the best" and that she was so happy to know me and have me in her life.

I had a lengthy phone conversation with my mum today, during the conversation we stumbled across the fact that we both love Mamma Mia so when the stage show comes to Bristol next year we will both be going along.
My mum doesn't know it yet but i'm going to insist that we go to the local fancy dress shops to rent the most outragous ABBA inspired outfits possible, i'll drop that bombshell once the tickets are paid for!!

I found out today that from here in except for the one scheduled session to finish up with the second SRS letter writer that my therapy visits are on an as needed basis only. She and I feel I have reach a point where I don't need it on any regular basis anymore. Just shows the progress I made from when I started. I have come so far and I'm proud of that fact.

My mum met my neighbour & introduced herself as "Jayne's mum"!!!!! She also got my name right in my birthday card!
Wow, it's only taken 3 yrs to reach this point, patience can work

Had a nice time with a friend tonight. I'm going to do what I can to not let this one fall away.

Two things have made me very happy, though the first I am worried will change...

First my job got a new GM, ever since then I've had a TON less stress on me and haven't been abused hardly at all especially like I was before, what's more, my hours have increased to an amount that I can survive and have enough left over each month to save up for things, though I still have to be careful when it comes to therapy or what I have saved will be gone quickly. I'm worried this might change but I'm hoping not.

secondly, if you're a Megaman Legends fan like myself and live in the US, well,  The Misadventures of Tron Bonn got released digitally for the PSP, PS3 and the PSVita and for only $6. Those who don't know, this is a super rare game that's a spin off and prequel to the Legends games and even used copies go for at least $150+ USD where as new can go anywhere from $400+ to $800+ USD.

Well, to be honest, the first one actually happened around 2 months ago (Just didn't want to jinx it at the time), the second one happened yesterday from what I can tell but both made me so happy.

I guess the dorm room attendant hears everything. There's been several people talking about me at the Celadon Terminal in Indianapolis, saying I look like Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. Suit's me just fine.

Had my doctor's check up today and my blood pressure was 'perfect' and I have lost 12 lbs. since my last check up!

My sister sent me this.
