Why Mike Huckabee fails his Christian duty by mocking transgender people(possible trigger warning)

" How should Christians treat transgender people? The answer seems obvious: with respect and love. Yet former governor Mike Huckabee, a favorite of Christian conservatives, took to mocking transgender people at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention as he criticized city ordinances that allow people to use public restrooms based on how they identify their gender."

Sadly this shows how some religious people think in that he contradicts himself to meet his own ends not really gods will to love everyone if that makes sense.

The article and Jen's comment sums it up for me. Kind of wish I didn't read the article now since his comments kind of have me upset.

I'm a lesbian and yet I'm not focused on trying to spy on the other women in the bathroom. I'm too self conscious to even consider going somewhere where I would need a public shower. Yeah he's just a sick pervert.

Thankfully Huckabee has no chance of winning. I wonder what kind of skeletons he has in his closest,  if he says stuff like this and the Duggar comments publicly.

" A Jewish organization in Canada has canceled a speech that was slated to be delivered by 2016 Republican Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee after critics claimed that he ' spread degrading hatefulness towards and about transgender people.' "

He's so disgusting, honestly. I'm just glad people - religious and not - are condemning him for this.
