If someone comments on shaved legs you could also say you are practicing for water polo, or going for swimming reasons. There's so many possibilities of instances of shaved legs. There's no reason to hide but not hide at the same time of that of shaved/waxed legs, such as throwing out that it may be more hygienic.

In 2013, I had to where a heart monitor to see why the dizziness that I had been dealing with off and on for a year was happening. Come to find out the heart wasn't the cause, but since some hair had to go I decided to use that as the opportunity to get rid of the rest. The nurse thought it was the weirdest thing she had ever seen. Hugs

Always a great feeling to be freshly shaved. The hassle is doing the shaving  :(

I often manage to cut my toes. :'( Need to use a better way (when I can afford it.)
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

At first I thought it would be a pain. But I'm just shaving every day right now. Its so much easier just to get rid of a little stubble. And it only takes me about thirty minutes and it relaxes me which is a plus.

OMG, just went through a very nervous email booking my legs to be waxed at a local Salon. I didn't think I would be so nervous but now it's set for the 18th June. Will let you all know how the experience goes and the comparison to shaving. The big step will be walking into the Salon and trying to act like it's normal even though they have men treatments well advertised.
Now to tell my wife. hmmmmmm.

I tried it for a week a few months ago, and while I loved the feeling, the upkeep was insane. I'm nervous about how it seems in public (as weird as it sounds) but I spend the summer months hiking... If there was an easier way..

I shaved for many years as I am a cyclist so never cared what others think.
Very painful as I had to do it twice a week.

Decided to get them lasered last year.
What a great choice. Little to no shaving, once a month at most now and now no stubble. Girls at the clinic were fine with it.
Love how they now look and feel.

Perfect.
So long and thanks for all the fish

If anyone seems odd about you shaving just ask. "Have you ever seen an unshaven body on a WWE wrestler? Or a bodybuilder?"

I think it was last years Tour de France and a cyclist came off ripping his lycra, it was obvious to all that he shaved a lot more than his legs!! Looked very nice >:-).

Girl /s you MUST get an EPILATOR.   ;D
Trust me you wont look back EVER (yeah I know the pain the paint).. trust me!

Yes its an amazing time when you 1st leg shave, welcome to the sexy legs club, I did this 1st time ever only 10 weeks ago.   TIP:  Use Witch Hazel after shave or epi.
Treasures buried in the jungle - I couldn't believe how awesome my legs looked (sorry not tiring to brag) but would go up against any of the best women out there.

My wife or anybody still doesn't even know yet, plan to do this only up till end of spring (still 5 months any here  :P)
Using an epilator (My is a Braun model 7951) is kind of weird after, the legs will still have a slightly prickely feel but this is micro stuff, eg: I may do them on Sunday night and come Sat they still look better than a 1 day shave growth AND they still have that sheen /velvety look. You can feel some roughness but just cant really see the hair even up close.
I just dont have the time /not disciplined enough to shave everyday.  I could write a huge post just on this.
And for those who have the awesome privilege of living in the US (as opposed to here in 17th century AU  >:(), I say get a Epi for Men by Emjoi (black) better design for mens skin & hair type.

Yea to smooth legs   ;D ;D
WHO...
Can I be
Should I be
Will I be???   ???
Who IS the REAL ME  :embarrassed:

I was a nervous wreck for my first ever visit to a Salon yesterday.

Once there I was ushered into a cubicle and there started my first ever waxing.
I had not shaved my legs for 2 weeks but it turns out my hair had not grown long enough to make the waxing effective.
My beauty therapist (love saying that) gave it a try anyway but she could only remove half the hair. We decided that I need to wait a further 2 weeks to let the hair grow long enough and I have already made my second appointment. I asked about nasal hair waxing and so she said "right lets do it". When you pull 1 hair out of your nose it hurts like heck but there is no eye watering effect with a whole bunch coming out with waxing so I highly recommend this to anyone.
So, I have to have 2 more weeks of half hairy legs to contend with before I can realise the feeling of perfectly smooth legs.
I have made a deal with my wife that over 7 months through winter and either side I will be waxing but will give her 5 months over the summer months of hairy legs.
I am now looking forward to the next visit rather than stressing and if you are like I was delaying going due to confidence, take a leap of faith and jump right in as it is a great experience.

This past week I've been shaving the top half of my legs (just the parts that nobody is going to see) and OMG it feels so good!! :D I love the smooth feeling whenever I'm wearing anything or running my hands down them!!

The only problem is that I have a few red dots appearing on my legs in places, I was just wondering if anybody else has this or knows how I can prevent this in the future?? xx

Sophie, that's where the hair is trying to grow back out and it's misaligned. Get a good washcloth and some exfoliating scrub. That will remove dead layers of skin and let the hair out. You should do that daily during your shower or they'll get infected and turn into pimples.

I occasionally shaved my legs when I was younger, got caught by my sister when I was 12, older brothers gave me hell for it. I kept shaving them on and off over the years that and having my hair long kept me going, I have had long hair since the 70's.  Been shaving legs all the time for about the last 10 or 12 years I think I would have a total melt down if I let them grow out.

Well had my second trip to the salon and had a new beauty therapist as my last one had left. It was a much more relaxing time and the end result was fantastic.
After getting home and having a shower I came out to the kitchen where my wife said she had told my 18 year old son about my waxing. I was horrified as I was not ready to disclose some of the changes I was experimenting with. To my surprise I find out a large percentage of his generation go hairless so he is very accepting and does not see it as anything special.
The feeling of smooth legs is incredible and I am going to see if I can keep them smooth for ever. I think my wife is kind of accepting it's OK for me to have this need satisfied. Even just having my legs rub together last night was so nice and then the feeling of the nightie oooohhhh yummy.
I have bought an exfoliating mitt and will be making sure to remove any chance of pimply problems.
