Hi. Hello. Um...I'm a rather shy person, with a tendency toward terrible writer's block, so bear with me.

My name is...well, I'm currently in the early stages of trying to eventually decide on a new name for myself. Trying to decide on a new name that's just right from a list of possibilities about a mile long. But right now, the whole world knows me by my birth name, which is Jamie.
My gender identity: complicated. :D   But the label I've settled on for the moment, the best way I can describe myself would be genderqueer.
I'm 23 years old- so in some respects, you could say I'm like any other millennial young person, trying to figure out their place in the world. My own personal journey just happens to have some extra add-ons. You know, fundamental stuff, like...gender. Which I'm sure is more than understandable, given the audience I'm speaking to.

I'm out to my parents, few friends...somewhat. But no one around me completely gets it. Though, what can you do when your very gender causes everyone around you to question everything they knew about there being two genders/sexes? I have a trans female friend struggling to come to terms with her own identity, & I was recently dismayed to learn that not even she understood.

At any rate, moving on! No room for misery here. Or time, seriously.
I think I've come across this website maybe a handful of times before, though I never created an account. Until now (dramatic music).

Please please please feel free to ask me anything (within reason & common sense, of course). I'm really friendly. :)
Excited to get to know all of you, get to know members of the community which I'm apart of.

Many thanks for the links.  ^-^  I wouldn't the first thing to communicating myself on here. I'd rather not randomly click things, risk ruining or something a pretty smooth-running looking operation here.  :D
I'm actually just starting to look into finding a gender therapist. Which I'm positively giddy about.
If I can figure out how this site works, I'll be see you around too. :)

Aww  I accept your virtual hugs. :)
By the way, I noticed the ticker at the end of your message. Though we've just met, I feel like I should "congratulations". That is great  :D    I'll have to ask you sometime how you put one of those tickers on your signature, once I figure myself out more in order to have one, that is.

Hey-hey!

I enjoyed reading your introduction! That's so cool you're out to some important people in your life. I'm out to a (n MtF) friend and that's about it, so I completely admire the way you've handled those hard conversations I know you've had. :D
