Hi everyone,

   I'm Anastasia and I am glad I have found this forum. Eveybody here is so helpful. I'm 37 and I am a crossdresser, even though if I were 21 or unmarried, I would be be considering transitioning. I'm married, and she knows, but doesn't like this at all. We have a wonderful 10 year old daughter who drives us crazy at times.

I am also 37 years old, but I'm single and I've just started the journey of transition. We all have our own journey's to undertake though, so don't let this discourage you. Perhaps in time, your wife may come to understand your need for crossdressing and may be of some help to you in the near future.

I've cross dressed for many years (more than you, but I won't say by how many  ) and now I'm considering transition, going to therapy and the like.  I hope your reading at Susan's does you as much good as it has done for me.  The whole site is full of excellent links and the Wiki is getting better all the time.  The forum's rules are simple to follow and the people all have worthwhile things to say.

Welcome to Susan's.  Like you I'm 37 years old.  Wait a second, I mean I wish I was 37 years old.    I think that you will enjoy your stay here at Susan's there is a wide variety of members with a wide variety of backgrounds, ideas, and views.  Be sure to read the rules and feel free to explore the site.  There is a ton of information in the Library and the Wiki.  Join in where you can as different, new and fresh views and opinions are always welcome.

Hey Anastasia, Some partners can be a bit cold but eventually do come around or let go which ever is the right thing for them so dont be too worried about the cold shoulder cause you will get all the support you need right here and good reading too!

Hi and welcome here to Susan's Place.

I'm Leah's Significant Other. It is a shock for us at first to find out these kind of things about our Life's Partner. I can say from experience that it is helpful to have a place to get the education and then also a place where like minded people share their experiences from both sides of the issues. Maybe you could point your wife here to share with other SO's. It could be helpful. you can find my email address in my prifile if she would rather go that way. Or she could meet me in the SO's CHat I'll be hanging out there from time to time as that room's operator, which really means I just like to share with people, privately or in SOs group what ever suites her.

What ever you do communicate, communicate, communicate, that is the key to making it through the rough spots in any relationship.

Welcome to Susan's. It is great to have you here. I love the name. As has been pointed out the people here are great. Truley caring and full of advice so I'm sure you will feel right at home. Give your spouse time and talk to her. She will need to understand. With understanding comes acceptance and hopefully support. She may warm up to the idea as time goes by. If you decide to transition this could be a tougher pill to swallow.

I am TS and my SO is 100% supportive. We have a very special relationship. There are a few of us here who have such relationships. I'm sure you and your SO can benefit from our experiences. In fact there are a lot of experiences here to read about. So fix yourself a cup of tea or other relaxing beverage, sit down, take your shoes off and set a spell.

I can relate totally but love makes us capable of compromise. Susan's is that compromise mostly for me. So welcome to Susan's the place where we of the middle road live. I too think you will this place a wonderful experience where the experience of others is shared.
