OMG FINALLY!!!!! After over a month of waiting i've finally heard back from Dr. Brassards office with a surgery date and its over a month sooner than I was expecting it to be!!!!!

They've given me November 2nd for a date which is actually the day before my sisters birthday

Congrats Jennifer!!!  It must be *such* a major relief getting your date after waiting so long.  I'm so happy for you that your date is so soon!

Congratulations!!  So happy for you!  That is awesome.  I know that office in Montreal can be frustrating, but it is nice when they finally respond with good news.

Yeahhhhhhhh I was emailing them almost once a week, I'm sure i got a bit on their nerves for a while but I hate waiting/not knowing what's going on.

Ha!  Good for you!  I was quite persistent with my email, you can be sure.   I can just see Suzanne's face every time she saw my email address in her inbox. LOL  Oh well, I only plan to have this done once and I paid a lot of money and it is VERY important to me, so I will not be shy about the logistics and details of it --AT ALL.  I am in the waiting game, too, now.  I leave for Montreal late next month.     Hotel booked, just bought tires for my truck today for the trip, and FMLA paperwork already in hand.  I feel like I have my ducks in a row!  (yet I still worry about missing a detail lol)

Well now I'm just waiting for the mail package, which hopefully will show up within the next to weeks cause I actually have a doctors appt on the 27th so timing would be perfect

Hurray! Congrats on the date. Not sure you'll get your confirmation packet that quick though. My surgery isn't until late next month with him, but i only recieved the packet mid-June. Also, their office shuts down in a few weeks for summer holiday and won't be open July 25 until Aug 10.

Yeah i'm just being hopeful so that I don't have to set any extra stuff up after I was just in.
