Just got my letter, so no HRT--YET.

I know I don't pass (broad shoulders, veiny hands, deep voice), but I know there are MANY ways to work on those things or down-play them as features.

You look great. I think you would pass right now based on these photos.  HRT should treat you well. [emoji1]

I think you look great, especially your figure.  With HRT and laser/electrolysis, you're gonna be gorgeous!

Ahhh! Thanks ChiGirl, I appreciate it! I keep on looking in the mirror and wonder what HRT will do to me, and I am happy you think it will have that effect :)

You look fine. Have you tried to trim your eye brows?

barbie~~

And thank you Barbie! I have had very pathetic attempts at shaping my eyebrows, but I am currently afraid to do it all the way as I am not presenting female.  When the day comes though, I will likely go get it professionally done.  I have observed through photoshopping my eyebrows that it makes a huge difference in my own beauty/ passability, and I believe reduces the prominent appearance of my brow!

Autumn I agree with Marlee.  You may see a guy looking back at you but thats because your used to seeing yourself that way.  I see a cute as a button girl!  It takes some prople longer than others to have results from HRT.  It aslo depends on dosages and delivery method.  Keep it up and you will notice the changes.  Some you really feel.....

The first picture looks very good.  Hard to see details from that wide of a shot but your overall presentation is good.  The second picture is a bit distracting because of the way your wig is on.  You need to get it on striaght and have it styled to complement your face.  And as Barbie said, getting your eyebrows done will help a lot.  Will you be starting HRT anytime soon?

Currently not on HRT, and just wondering my passabilty? I know HRT/ FFS would do wonders, but would like to know specific areas that need to be changed for passability.  Also, just for some positive reinforcement, what are some areas I am good on? Thanks for helping me out on this :)

Thank you for the kind words Jessie and Marlee.  I think you're totally right, because we see ourselves everyday, we only see the faults.

Sorry but the picture quality from my phone isn't very good.  Anyway, I've only been on HRT for a month so I haven't noticed any changes but when I look in the mirror, all I see is a guy staring back at me and it's so disheartening.

Anyway, I plan on getting FFS in 2 years since that would give me enough time to change careers as my current field is very male dominated.

Yes. As others said, you look totally feminine to my eyes.

Just do it.

Thank you Jessie! Yes, my wig was in a bit of tussle that day, but I actually kind of like that style with natural hair.  On the way home from work today, I was looking at my eyebrows and imagining good possibilities if I could find the right way to do it.  HRT is in my near future, but unfortunately my current professional life is making me work 80 hour weeks and doesn't have time off (it is graduate school).  So despite having good health insurance, I do not have time for the doctor's visits.  I can't wait to see the results though, those thoughts are constantly rolling around in my head!

I'll echo what everyone else is saying, give it a couple of months on HRT and you'll wonder how you ever passed as male.

Where did you get that lovely dress?  Yes you do pass, - most definitely.  Your hair is beautiful by the way, - in fact I feel slightly jealous.
You remind me of someone I used to know back when I was still working, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Pre-hrt, hopefully I get to start in the beginning of 2016. e.e
Sorry for the bad quality.

Alright I've worked up enough courage to post in this topic.

You're looking good Raven.  Back when I was serving my apprenticeship as an automotive engineer there was a woman who worked in the canteen who looked a lot like you.  She was always nice to me actually, - I think she realised that I didn't really fit in as being a typical mechanic.

Wow! Perfect bone structure Jess.  When you start HRT you are seriously going to bloom.
