I've been afraid of doing this, especially with short hair but, thoughts?  I don't have makeup on so this is rather raw.  Also the capris are not the most flattering too.
Anyhow, how well do I pass?  I'm also open to any suggestions.

Honestly I think you pass great...

+2 because I didn't see any issues really. You can definitly rock the short hair fine. Short hair isn't for or at least not yet for me.

Honestly you shouldnt be worried your face is very soft already, and from what i can see in the picture your shoulders are barely bigger than your hips which is not bad at all.

thank you i really appreciate this :) i have hooded eyes which is terribly annoying though, and i think my hips were accentuated thanks to the fit of the dress? i dont have very large hips but i have a small waist so i can sort of bend things in my favor. regarding just the physical my shoulders are my biggest fear though, save for my feet! i recently discovered i can fit in US women's size 11 so that has sort of been remedied :D

it's a bit small but from what i can tell you have a very nice figure :)

Aww thanks, and ya I was pretty underweight I am actually still trying to gain weight back. I am also starting to do squats, and waiting for some weights so I can start weight training kinda thing to maybe make my hips look bigger like http://www.fitstep.com/Misc/Newsletter-archives/issue54/hips.htm. You still shouldn't be worried though, and if you are there are a ton of things you can do clothes wise to even out your figure. We tend to focus on things we don't like and make it worse in our head than it actually is.

Thanks, I actually found them both at value village :). Tbh I havn't been able to get myself to go outside in any dresses, shirts, or any shorts that are shorter than like 3/4 of my thighs. Too self conscious.

i haven't gone out at all yet!! but in private use I own no shorts and like one pair of trousers; only skirts and dresses  >:-) same though regarding being self conscious i don't have the nerve to go out

looking far into the future though if i ever get srs i think only then would i feel confident wearing bottom-tight clothing :/

O ya I only have female clothes I just usually wear a sweater too. But with skirts and dresses I am like the opposite, jeans etc are sooo much easier for me. If you tuck right nothing really shows, but things that are really feminine I have an issue with, huge fear of looking like a guy in a dress and feminine things fall with that.
Though you will get there I am sure, it honestly took me forever. The only reason I actually went full time is because my girlfriend at the time kinda pushed me.

Hah, most of my wardrobe came from there too!  It was waaaaaay less stressful to be shopping for womens clothes in that environment and the low cost allowed for reduced-risk experimentation.  As my public confidence grew I started getting some things from mainstream clothing stores though.  Also, now that my mom is more comfortable with my identity she's actually been helping by bringing things home for me to try on.  At this point, being full-time, I have to be able to shop anywhere because I need enough clothing to cover all occasions/seasons and my workplace.

You have a lovely round, feminine face. :)

Be nice everyone!!! I know they aren't the best photos but, at least, they're taken using an actual camera. And by another person! My selfies always come out wrong. Perhaps I need one of those stick things? Perhaps you don't really need to know that. Anyhow I suppose I'm getting there! Pre-everything other than two sessions of laser and lots of make-up. Which is something I've always enjoyed doing. Make-up I mean! Also the eyebrows  ;) lol!! Had a bad job and currently growing them back in for a good job next week. They look like caterpillars - Arrggh!

Get the look!

Foundation - Max Factor Olive Pan Stik
Powder - Max Factor Crème Puff translucent base and medium beige final dust
Eyes - Revlon Primer, Maybelline nude eyeshadow, Bourjois Ultra Black mascara, Revlon grey eye crayon, Max Factor (I think) powder brows kit
Lips - Max Factor poppy red lipstick

Clothes - Primark and Matalan, necklace was a present

Hair - Messy style after wash and condition using Goldwell Hot Form spray and Glamour Whip magic finish. And two spring clips  :D (damn you Lucy Worsely and your making me want to use hair clips).

Anyhow - what do you think? There's still a long way to go...

* Edited to add - I'm looking a little serious because I was trying to tell the photographer how to work the camera at the same time!! I kept thinking about that so couldn't adopt the most natural pose  :-*
