"You've got mail!"  <--yelled to someone as they walked in with AN ACTUAL LETTER
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Color TV -- I just recently thought of this as an okay name for a band. Not great, attention-grabbing, but okay.

Jive turkey -- Some friends of mine in a band were joking about calling their next album Jive Turkey.

Groovy -- I used to say this ironically in the late nineties.

Boogie -- I think I still say this one ironically on occasion, as in, "Let's roll."

The fuzz (as in cops) -- Sometimes.

Neato -- Also ironically in the nineties.

Book (as in go quickly) -- Skaters use this one all the time. "To ollie that gap, you just have to book!

Split (as in leave) -- Why don't you make like a banana and get lost?

Grody (as in to the max) -- Oh! My mom uses this one! I like it.

Bogart (as in joint) -- As a kid, I picked this one up from Beavis & Butt-Head

Tubular -- I love this word! And I wish it was used more.

He says, "No, but I'll have your TWA Tea."
