Two factors I think come into play with kids:

1) Little kids are short munchkins who see us all from a unique perspective.. waaay down low.

2) They have no filter, so they're more likely to blurt out socially inept stuff.

Even though you look great, sometimes being gendered is a matter of millimeters and as point 1 suggests, maybe they see something in the jaw or brow that adults miss due to their perspective, and as point 2 suggests, they'll just say whatever they think about it!

I certainly cannot say that's what's going on because, just like your initial thread, the consensus was that you look really good and people were stymied as to why you said you weren't passing.

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, so I don't know a ton about posting, so I hope you will all bear with me. I am questioning my gender identity, and I have been struggling with different labels (genderfluid, demigirl), but I know that I would definitely like to look more feminine or androgynous. What are these lasers that you are all talking about? I have no clue where to start researching facial feminization, and for now I have to focus on makeup and things like that. So could someone explain to me this laser concept? And also, since I can't exactly undergo any HRT or surgeries yet, could someone give me some makeup ideas? I really hope this can kind of fit in this thread. Thanks

You are a cutie! Little kids are funny, they will just say what ever they think, I have had them ask me why I talk like a boy... this was when I was in "boy mode" so apparently they thought I looked like a girl but sounded like a guy. I just giggle about it and think it is funny.  You look good in the photo there, so I would not worry much about what the kid said. If it happens again, just say,  "well you look like a dinosaur" haha! I bet the kid will run around all day roaring and stomping, teehee

I've been afraid of changing, cuz I built my life around you.
but time makes you bolder, children get older , I'm getting older too.

Alright this is me after having makeup on for eight hours. After shopping, getting rained on, cleaning the kitchen, making dinner and eating dinner.

Well, I think you're in the club and fall in to my "super cute" category. Just keep doing whatever you're doing because it's working for you.

I'd say the makeup held up pretty well and looks good. The only thing I'd suggest about your look might be to consider a more asymmetrical hairstyle. Maybe something with more sidesweep of the bands or something. You and I both have faces that can benefit from a bit of width on the sides.

Just updated my avatar.  I know the hair is not long enough, but I'm in the training mode on how to fix it, style it and grow it.
As well just learning about make-up too.
Any comments would be appreciated.

It has taken two days to get the courage to post these and right now I am freaking out beyond imagination. :embarrassed: I have posted a few small single things but nothing like this. I am far from brave or ready for people to know this part of me yet. However I am reaching the second phase of my preparation's (five parts with one down).

Still dropping weight although very slowly  :(

Here is a few shots I took today to see how I was progressing. Keep in mind I am not on HRT and can not start until I drop a lot more weight. My hair is still growing and it now at my chin when wet so it is getting there heh! I had to take shots on my old iPhone. First lot are with hair down and up. The wig is a half piece so it goes under my own hair to add length only. The fringe is my hair pulled back and clipped with pins to make it "appear" as if it is my fringe. Trust me it took 45mins to practice it :(

The second set are a body type shot which I HATE! I look big/fat and manly which I become depressed over the second I see it as I am not at all feminine looking  :'(

HEAD SHOTS:

BODY SHOTS: (remember I present as a guy and have not started HRT)

Also excuse the mess and toilet in the background!! I am in the middle of moving things from one room to another so it is hectic.

SIX MONTHS AGO: (It took a lot to post this as it was me at my worst 125kgs/276lbs. I am now 85kg/187lbs)

TWO MONTHS AGO: (I was 94kgs/207lbs)

A straight line may be the shortest distance between two points, but it is by no means the most interesting

Ok, now that's inspirational to me. Seriously. I'm at 220lbs/5'5, and wanting to lose before I can get into the endo to start HRT. You look great! I hope that we can see more later.

I'm still in the 'super plus' category, but getting there...

Here's a funny story from yesterday... so I found some really cute skirts at Tractor Supply, and told my wife I want to go shopping, since we both dress Western as a style. So we get there, she buys all the skirts I wanted, and a shirt and tells me 'When you get a job, you can buy clothes.'

<ouch!>

I did get >a< new skirt. Tops will be coming shortly, as soon as I find one that works.

Thank you.

It has been a struggle to drop the weight as I started a year ago and replaced it all after I refused to face what was going on we me and after being attacked by a group of Lebanese men. Then six months ago I said enough is enough and started again this time dropping more than before.  :-\

My big concern is I have very broad shoulders and a ugly male facial structure with a broad chin and thick cheeks/jaw. I can live with big feet (I am male size 10-10.5 Australia) as they will at the very least thin out a bit more I hope! Plus I know a great site that sells the cutest shoes and boots ever for up to size 14 Aus for women! I am also 5'11-ish foot so I am also pretty tall I guess, but not amazon size. I just pray I get thinner in the shoulders as they are my pet hate with my weight loss thus far. They seem to be all encompassing and fat/muscles.. well mostly fat as I do not do weights anymore.

I know we all hate ourselves but I am at that point of giving up again as I look at these photos and they scream ugly beast man in a ill fitting dress. I will post better ones later that show my shape as the little black dress (size14 Australia) is not kind to the shape and was all I could find in the local country farmers store! :embarrassed:

If you look at the first two photos I was wearing a lace style top which I honestly love as it is a perfect fit and looks great with levis and knee boots.

You dont actually - they are not really that wide to be of concern and as You correctly noted they are mostly fat/muscles anyway. So, they will melt, just give them some time. As for cheeks and jaw, You can't be sure if those issues are due to bone structure, or that's fat (and facial muscles) again. I had very broad jaw, but it turned out to be mostly muscles due to extensive use in chewing gum in my twenties... Now, my face is much narrower (as are the shoulders). So just give them some time and enjoy the ride :).

Also Sarah if the shoulders do bother you try pulling them back a little it does wonders!

You pass; you look really pretty, and your eyes are gorgeous. One thing about your makeup though (but it could be from the lighting), the foundation doesn't seem to match your natural skin tone, but otherwise you did a really good job with it. :)

thank you, i guess it is the lighting because i only have concealer under my eyes, elsewere it is my original face.

I could tell that your forehead looks clear, but your face looks sallow, so that's why I thought you were wearing foundation.

It looks very nice.  One thing to consider is having your wig a little further down on your forehead or consider a wig that has bangs.  You have very pretty eyes and a great foundation to start from.

little kids have thins sub atomic nano radar. They use it to instill vast amounts of confusion in people who are transitioning. I don't think it's a malicious plan guided by extraterrestrial beings intending on the over throw of human civilization , but just an innate evolutionary  mechanism  for their own survival in case a mutant virus destroys all human beings over the age of 18, hence the need to pull the human race from oblivion.
