Yes, I am planning to talk to my doctor about it. I see her in a couple weeks.

But I am concerned. It is about 1100, while E2 is about 300.

What is normal? I am concerned that high E1 levels may have some adverse effect.

Units are important!

Side effects to be concerned about are swelling of the feet, pain in the legs etc. if they occur seek ER help.

Yikes, it is worse than I thought.

E1 - 2161 pg/mL
E2 - 215 pg/mL

Is that bad?

Bit high. Go get checked by your endo.

Don't panic I was three times higher!

Just be aware if you feel leg pain etc call an ER but no reason to panic.

I presume you meant pg and not ng?

Sorry

Yeah it's pg.

She's going to take new labs when I go next time and we will work from there. I don't feel any pain in my legs, or swelling.

You'll be fine. I went into a noncontrolable E production that worried everyone but I was 10 times higher than you. I was at IVF levels.

But there were no side effects.

Take care Hon

Do you swallow estrogen pills? If so, it might be helpful to consider taking your E another way. Oral E yields high E1 levels because the liver converts most of the E2 to E1 before it is absorbed into the bloodstream. Since E2 is the best feminizing agent, that conversion is not helpful. My E1 was much higher when I took my hormone orally than on any other routine. I have since stopped oral estradiol for another reason (candidiasis and yeast infections).

Never underestimate the power of estradiol or the people who have it.
