Has anyone heard of or tried oil pulling before? I was reading a few articles online about this and it's supposed to pull toxins out of your body through swishing oil in your mouth. They say coconut oil is really good for cleaning your teeth and whitening them. I bought some coconut oil today and I think I may have to try this out. If anyone has tried it, what were your results?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I have used clove oil for tooth pain in the past and it was pretty helpful.

The only thing I've used coconut oil for is on my top surgery scars. It's made the skin around them smoother and clearer, but it hasn't lightened them at all. It's supposed to be really good for scars though.

I used the coconut oil two times now and my mouth feels a lot cleaner and a tiny bit whiter. I noticed though that I'm getting some diarrhea which could be from the toxins flushing from my body. Obviously I don't swallow it since that's a really bad idea and you're gonna have a bad time. I guess I'll see how it goes after a week.

I didn't think to use coconut oil on the scars. But I'm pretty pleased with the way cocoa butter and Scar Away strips have been working.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

(this is an old post but whatever)

i actually tried oil pulling, and though i haven't had the time to keep it up recently, it certainly helps. I had really discoloured and sensitive teeth and it cleared up big time. My teeth are still a bit sensitive, but i haven't oil pulled in about a month. I was doing lazer tag and my teeth were glow in the dark from the lights!
