Does clothes start to fit better and easy to find as you go on HRT mtf?

rachel89

HRT will change your body in some ways, but not in others. Skin and hair will get softer, facial and body hair will grow slower, you will grow breasts, and you may redistribute fat. Breast growth and redistribution of body fat is different from each person. Some things will not change like skeletal structure. This means depending on how you redistribute fat, it can be easier to find pants, skirts, many dresses. Because skeletal structure will not change, it can be difficult to find things like coats or shoes that fit right.

My biggest issue is the size of my shoulders and ribcage.  Some dresses or bras are difficult to pull over my head and shoulders, or fit snug up top and loose down further.

However, my shoulders have gotten smaller in the last 3 months since starting HRT, but that's just muscle shrinkage, not bones changing.  My ribs are also getting easier to see as the muscle/fat that previously lined them begins to shrink as well.

I wouldn't say "easier" to find/fit. The upside is that there are 10 million companies producing women's clothes in many fits and styles. Each with their own sizing standards. With a little bit of time you'll quickly find the labels that make clothes which will flatter your figure. Just remember all women have a degree of difficulty finding the clothes that fit the way they want. **little known fact (to me at least) some stores offer complimentary tailoring services to give you the best look possible **
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

Yes everything fit better on HRT after a while. I shrank. I was size XL but now I'm size M. Shoulders are shrinking too so that is less of a concern.
