Hi Everyone,

I am newish to these forums and not posted before. I have been moving through my journey over several years and have finally decided to pursue HRT. I am in my early 40s, with a supportive partner and a helpful therapist.

I am scared of starting HRT because I have asthma and i don't know how the different medications will interact.

I am curious to know if other trans women have had issues with HRT and asthma. Thanks.

Warm welcome to Susan's Shimmeringbluorb

Lovely to have you here with us, Whilst I do not have asthma now, having it as a kid has left me with sever hayfever bouts and really sensitive with allergens, I have been on HRT for the last 12 years and has been now problem. But I do know asthma as an adult is a lot worse than as a kid.

I do look forward to seeing you around the forums
