A watermelon grape smoothie made with frozen watermelon, red grapes, greek yogurt and two ounces of caramel moonshine.

Had my HRT bi-annual checkup and all my levels were great (hormones and other blood work.) And I have been eating healthier this week and I dropped 6 pounds.

These past weeks were awful. My dysphoria has been kicking hard and both my parents are standing strong against my gender identity with no signs of acceptance. My dad, specially, saying unnecessary harsh things.

But today, after a ->-bleeped-<-ty day, my mom apologized for some things she said before. She didn't say that she supports me, and I honestly don't think she does. But it's finnaly a step in a better direction.

I made pickles  ;D  Just six jars, four large and 2 small using some regular pickling cucumbers and some strange roundish shaped yellow cucumbers

I love it when they give that tell tale 'pop' that lets you know that they have sealed proper, so far 5 out of 6 have popped but I'm still holding out hope for the last jar  :)

Caramel moonshine? Firefly Distillery of South Carolina. I believe they have an online presence. We drive from NY to FL so we can stop there and at the tea plantation near it for tastings. Plan to hit it next week, in fact.

going to see a Dr today who may possibly be able to speed up my access to a suitable Psychiatrist. Apparently there are only two in the entire of Adelaide that are able to give a medical diagnosis of Gender Dysphoria which then opens up the treatment options IE Hormones  and I am getting a referral to see one whom my Psychologist works with so can smooth the way to a quick appointment with him...Yay!

My new kitchen faucet finally came in and the mgr. let me install it myself instead of having to wait for the maintenance people to get around to it

A few days ago in the "what made you both happy and sad" thread, I mentioned that I had finally posted my Facebook coming out post to tell the last few people that I had not. I followed up to say that I had gotten 100% supportive responses from the 1/3 of my Facebook friends who responded.

Last night Sweetie asked my permission to repost it so that those of her friends who were not my friends could see it. Her friends are giving me the same kind loving, supportive responses I got from mine. Even the one who worried me most, the one who's coming to stay with us for the holidays. The world is full of wonderful people!

I went in for an interview for a job I thought I would never be qualified for. Not only did they offer it to me on the spot, but got me started on the paperwork already. Less happy, more exstatic.
