Just realizing that Mom taught both my sis and me to grow up without stereotypical gender role constraints. Sis drove triple-rig semi trucks, long-haul. Mom taught me fashion, clothes. Mom not a cook, but sis and I cook -- gawd do we! We all own jewelry, lingerie, chain-saws, power tools, motorcycles.

No make-up in none of our houses! Skirts, dresses in all houses, but we never much wear them. We all wear the same sorts/styles of clothes, coordinated recreational. Mom taught us to think of people as individuals, not gender packages.

Interesting looking back, Mom passed in April, at 90, full life, stylish . . . And I realize the F I'm comfortable being is the role-model Mom provided for my sis and me.

And we're all good on how/what we present.

Thanks Mom! ♡♡♡
