Hi, all! I'm just looking for people who might feel like I do.

I am in an amazing relationship with a transgender male who primarily likes girls. Now, I'm not a girl and he knows this already. He knows me as agender right now and it wasn't a problem for him. We communicate really well and I know it's not a problem for him to still date me. But now, as I am identifying more as a male, I keep worrying I'm depriving him. Logically I know I'm not because he loves me and is attracted to me, but it's just one of those nagging worries. 

Anyone else out there having these types of worries?

You said he's primarily into girls, but that implies that it's not an exclusive thing. So it doesn't sound like he's actually straight? If it worries you, you should talk about it. He should know that it's a concern that you have, and then he can tell you whether or not its baseless.

Yeah, we do talk about these things. I know it's not something I need to be worrying about because he's reassured me a lot that he'd love me no matter what. It's just one of those worries you get even though you know you shouldn't, y'know?

My situation is similar, although my boyfriend claims explicitly that he is not attracted to men in the slightest, so the more I start to resemble one, the further apart we will grow.

After 9 years together, I'm not exactly thrilled at the prospect, but I'm not new to platonic relationships either. If it develops into something platonic, I will be content enough. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, I suppose.
