hi everyone! it's been almost a year since i last posted here. (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,177226.0.html)
once reach a foreign land i'll claim asylum. the issue is how can i get there.

during this time, i went through a lot of depression and was very close to giving up but the hope kept me going, the hope that one day i'll get out of this hell. i also discovered a lot of things about myself and i think i have grown as a person. (i am saying that coz i sounded stupid and childish back then)

so, after struggling for an entire year, i have 'finally' got the passport. it was really hard to deal with my brothers.

last time, the major problem was how was i going to get enough proof of funds for a students visa. luckily, i can now apply for a visitors visa (and my family will think it is a student's visa, hehehe) and a visitor visa requires comparatively less amount funds.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? where should i apply for a visitor visa? i know i need to apply at the embassy BUT which country? i am thinking about applying for a US visitor visa coz it will be fast and i won't have to wait for a long time. how am i gonna convince the visa officer to get the visa? the officer will assume that i am an intersex trying to escape this conservative society.

help me, i am confused and depressed.

I'm not too sure what the process is for Pakistan to US, but you usually can just apply for visas over the internet (especially just a visitor's visa). I think the first step is to really research where you want to go, what you will do as soon as you get to that country and everything else in the future. Gotta ask yourself if you'll have enough money to last throughout the duration of your stay and then while you're waiting for your...asylum application to be approved? It does say that you can work as soon as you are granted asylum. Hopefully these sites help you.

I Googled and got this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/pk/
and this is for seeking asylum: http://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/refugees-asylum/asylum

Wish you the best of luck.

A visitor visa obtained with the intent to seek asylum may not be granted.

It's hard to get one in general, unless you have money.
