Wow ok!

Long time lurker of this and other Trans forums like this and all the girls here seem so knowledgeable and full of such helpful advice and counsel I have finally decided to take the plunge and "out" myself after some big developments for me in my transition.

I am an MTF transsexual and I started HRT (Sprio/Estro) four days ago and whilst it is obviously ridiculously early in the progress I am feeling overwhelmingly positive about both starting the feminizing hormones and getting on with my life.

I'm 28 years old (29 coming up!) and been in the closet so long it just feels like a massive unburdening and the past months have been somewhat of a rollercoaster what with my wife being so accepting and 100% supportive and us taking things one step at a time with our young son.

Next big step is the wider family but I am uber stealth at the moment so until I start busting outta my shirt (fat chance I'm one of 5 girls and neither us or our Mom are particularly top heavy) I'm going to play that my ear.

Electro, breast augmentation and FFS on the horizon and I think the latter two will accompany me going full time but given reported changes HRT can make I wouldn't want to start on any FFS until I have a good idea of what my final female face would look like.

Better stop for air....!

So hi to all and thanks for all the help so far and hopefully I will become a much more integrated and valuable member of the community here.

Hi April,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Depending on the format of your HT, personally I wouldn't be planning FFS or BA for at least 5 years. I've known some women who've had BA and are still growing, which makes things a bit awkward. Nevertheless, sounds like you have a great support system. That's essential.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Thanks Catherine!

No for sure I completely get both the rush to get BA/FFS to pass and also the gradual effects HRT take to help change your body over to where it oughta be.

I'm hopefully quite level headed about stuff so I'm here to get that advice and take each day as it comes!
