well I had to repair mine already

seems the "head" is a cover, inside is the weighted "knob" surrounded by a thin foam rubber cover, the head is not sealed. So with my massive squirting, I soaked the head and all the stuff inside...

I pulled the cover off, washed, dried the parts and caulked ( ) the parts and the edge where it seals. Hopefully that is water tight now

since the rest of the wand is not water tight, I decided to add a ALCI / GFCI device to the extension cord that I use for the wand.
