I am a little guy (5'4"). I am also very skinny. Sizewise i could fit young mens/teens BUT their style is....not mine. I've had luck with Burlington Coat Factory and PD&C brand but I'd like more of a variety. Right now i just have white, gray, and black shirts. Purples and blues are what i want the most but of course they're for big people.

Fellas, where did you shop for clothes or were they all online?

I did a google search for "small mens clothes" and it came up with a fair number of hits. As when I was a male I had the opposite problem I don't know much about the smaller stuff. You also might try getting the JC Penny's catalog or go on line. They often have sizes that you can't find in the store. My dad was bigger than me and he always ordered out of the catalog.

If you know your size, try Amazon.

H&M sizes run very small. Back before I started T I was wearing xs or small. Now being on T for almost 2 years I am between mediums and large. Before I had my top surgery I was wearing large to cover up the melons. Now that I had my surgery I actually enjoy the mediums because they make me look thinner and now I have nothing to hide. You could also try Amazon like someone said above. There are a few Asian sized companies on there that run A LOT smaller than most Euro-US sizes.

Also if you donate a bag of clothes to H&M you get a voucher for like 10-15% off your purchase. You can give two bags and get 2 vouchers. But the max is 2 a day, and there is no size limit to the bag you could just throw two shirts into separate bags and get away with that.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I am a 5'4" super skinny T-guy and small and extra small sizes fit me just fine.

I get most of my clothes from American Eagle. There are solid color purple and blue polos, tees, etc. if that's what you're searching for.

Shorts are a little bit trickier, but I manage to find styles from the kids section that I like. I'm sure you could find a pattern or color you like just from a simple Google search.

Hope I was helpful!

(Sorry this is a bit late to reply)
I get all of my clothes in shops irl, since I prefer to try them on first. I get most of my clothes from American Eagle, H&M, Hollister and charity shops.
I've heard Uniqlo runs small, and they're a decent price so I'd say they'd be right up your alley.

What's with this new trend for 'long line' mens t-shirts? I've had to take up the last three that i bought at the hem so that they don't come down to my knees.

I have no idea. I've seen Justin Bieber wear those and it just looks naff. What happened to the good old days of proper tailoring :D

They're not bigger all over, like 90s hip hop style, just longer... i bet it's so they fit over a beer gut... All they do it make my hips look bigger. thank god for my mum's sewing machine

All the shirts at my work that I like are all LONG. They even made a cool bomber jacket but it's also really long. It would probably look good on someone who is like 6'0+ haha. If I wore it, it would look stupid on me and be down past my knees like a dress. Plus I can't wear stuff like that because of the work I do in the stores could be a hazard :p
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I dunno.

I 2nd H&M. I'm 5'4" also. The sleeves and armholes and length usually fit perfectly. I'm a large, so the small should fit you even better. I didn't know about the clothes donations. Wish I had known about this before I cleaned out for my move.
Also  Forever 21 usually fits, too and has a nice variety of clothes.  Even their long sleeve clothes aren't horrendously long sleeved.

A cis friend, who is barely 5', shops at American Eagle. He's a skinny guy (tiny, actually).  American Eagle doesn't fit my wider, thicker build, but it might fit yours.
Hope those help!
