WIN!
... Unless you're on a 'console', then you're SOL.
Personally, I have never really understood the 'dying' in video games. I mean, you're almost ALWAYS the hero/ine... and everybody knows, the hero/ine NEVER dies - at least not until 'the end', so yeah. WTF?! I almost always play in 'god mode', because it doesn't break from the immersion as badly... for me at least. But that's about as far as I usually go with the cheats (unless a main plot mission is broken to high hell... like Skyrim's Esbern; STILL broken to this very day. Have to console-complete that entire mission. Ugh). Doesn't affect how good you are or how many shots it takes to kill the AI's, just saves you a ton of loading time.
Oh right... what's hacking me off about this game, is the disappearing companions. Lost one, nowhere to be found (and I certainly didn't tell him to 'wait' somewhere and run off without him; was right there one second... then gone. Got another, asked me where to send him... sanctuary hills... annnnd... still gone. Bah!!! Think workshop mode is related; what I had been doing at the time). And settlements, seems there's a glitch there where you lose ability to use the workshop (my favorite feature of this game, so really sucks). *Sigh*
