Hello everyone,
Does anyone has some experience of transitioning with a congenital heart defect?
I have one and I got told last September that It might be either dangerous or impossible to transition, and that I would get the results the next time I see them, which *should* be in February. But that might turn to April for all I know.
Anyhow, it's been torturing me ever since, and I hoped someone might have had experience with this.
My heart defect is a mix of several things, but one of them is is Septal defect and a misplacement of the Aorta. I've had the Fontan procedure done to me, around 10 years ago, if that's of any help.
Furthermore, I want to add that I am otherwise in excellent health and shape and my cardiologist is frequently dumbfounded because I'm 'doing too well' and 'I'm not supposed to be able to go mountain hiking,'.
Thanks in advance.
