Spiro will suppress T to a certain extent, but the main issue is whether you end up with sufficient sex hormone for all the things Kay mentioned.
Low dose works well as an interim measure before full on transition. It becomes more dicey as a long term proposition as it can work too well informed some. Generally speaking it takes longer for those in low dose to really start to blossom so to speak.
In my case, it's been 3 years and counting. Initially low dose oral prognova and spiro. Got sick of ingesting pills and switched to implants. Low dose implants work too well - I've effectively transitioned hornonally without the social side.
Facial electrolysis completed as well, so I'm getting away with pretty much presenting like an ftm and social expectations. Most people see what they expect.
Back on topic - body hair is now thin and wispy, but still attains previous maximum length outbid stubborn wilfulness. Some minor regrowthn around the front scalp on the sides but it's pretty wispy regrowth. Fortunately I've had minimal recession.
