I came out after I started dating my current boyfriend, who identifies as straight. I'm starting transitioning and he's having a hard time trying to adjust. I want to make it easier for him somehow, but I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have experience with this?

It may not be possible with him in particular, since his sexuality may not be flexible enough to accommodate you're becoming more and more manly. In my experience, the guys that are bi or hetero-flexible were much more accepting of myself as a trans woman in the midst of her transition. There are gay guys that are into trans men in particular, as well as bi guys. It may depend on whether you are interested in dating someone that is cranked up in particular to trans men, what some may call a ->-bleeped-<-. I figure as long as they are into you as a person, it doesn't matter why they were initially interested, and being someone's fantasy can be fun.

If people are what they eat, I really need to stop eating such neurotic food  :icon_shakefist:

That's what I'm afraid of. The topic hasn't specifically been brought up, but it's quite obvious neither of us wants to break up since we've gotten too attached to each other. We both want to make it work out, but I'm still scared it'll end up being too much for him.

Best thing you can do is tell him what you just told us. Communication is key.
