Is there a general structured dialogue we can use or develop to inform others who don't understand what transgender really is and educate them? ... I know some people are not worth our time, but we know many people are genuinely ignorant on the subject and if they actually knew the facts behind Gender Dyshporia they may develop a more acceptable mindset over time. This dialogue would need to be very concise, yet respectful to their ignorance. It needs to give them facts that could help them over time realize that being trans is not a choice, and that everyone has the basic human right to be themselves.

I know that all of our paths are different but the facts oftentimes remain the same. Can someone point me in the right direction for this, share what they say or be willing to possibly collaborate something that many others can use to help educate the public?

Most don't have a clue what Gender Dysphoria is. They want to keep living in the past and not even educate themselves before typing.

What if any of you people that responded in this channel had a child that came up to you one day and told you they were transgender or they told you they don't feel right with their birth sex?
What would you do? Would you abandon your flesh and blood or would you try to educate yourself on the matter and support them and help them be happy?

You have to remember, a transgender will use a restroom, do his or her business and leave. The mindset that you all are using is creeps and stalkers that pray on other men/woman, and you all scream OMG!!  Wouldn't they usually be suspicious from the start? Yes they would. 99.9% of you HAVE been in a restroom with a Transgender and didn't even know it, I guarantee it. They were there to do nothing more than use the facilities and be on their way.
If you had a creep/stalker ect, they would give themselves away instantly. Don't bash Transgender people just because you don't understand them, learn about them.

You will have to worry far more about Murderers, Robbers, Car Jackers ect than you will of a REAL transgender giving you problems, I assure you....How do I know?

You know what's scary yet eye opening for transgender? Our Families and Friends should be the ones were scared to face the most, I thought so too until I came out to everyone. It's not them!

It's the community you don't know that we are afraid of. Why? Because people don't understand Transgender and their first thoughts are only of how "THEY were raised" and is and should always stay the norm.

Let me ask you all this since you seemed so focus on "Girls". What if YOU have a Family member that was a transgender Man? (Female to Male) and they walked into the mens room to "Be normal" like the rest of the guys? Biologically He was born a "She" but presents as Male. Should HE goto the Ladies room to be appropriate? I didn't think so.

I sure as hell will not use a Mens restroom dressed as my True self. That's asking for trouble.

I've met people and families with kids and they were intrigued to learn more about me and I explained it and they were amazed about what they learned. Some of them ALSO had the mindsets of many of you here thinking that Transgender people are "creeps" ect or whatever.

I assure you, we are NOT. We want to make ourselves normal and be happy, just like the rest of all of you. After all...I'm pretty sure we are all Human.

I think the UK pamphlet is to the point and easiest to handle for most people. Of course, we know it is a very complex issue but...

To my kids it was easy just told them I had a girl brain and a boy body. Then that I want to be a girl and get a girl body some day... They know my new name is Jerri to most people with the correct spelling. Their school is being told tomorrow morning chat with head teacher should cover it.

For work I did a wall of text as I like them all and consider them friends. Laid out all the pieces of the puzzle then assembled them. Easier than giving answer then explanation.

To my priest today I only had like 60 seconds before he had to do next mass so gave him a 2 parter. Changed my name to Jerri and that it's short for Jerrica. Gave him a few seconds to put it together then told him I'll see him later. Caught him again after mass and he was surprised for sure as I'm the first he's ever met but happy I was able to tell him. Must admit I was initially expecting some good old fashioned fire and brimstone but he was great. So all seems to be fine with me and church coolness (not everyone's cup of tea but I like it)

I like to use the name thing to make them think it before confirming it. After that I'm happy to chat about anything especially my history. Any honest question I'll try to answer the same way.
It is different for them but also fun as they learn more about me. They enjoy learning and I enjoy talking so everybody wins
