OK long story short I came out to great fan fare with my significant other autumn time last year. Being an adult, 34 ugh, I made my own decision to medicate myself and bought my hormones via a well known website.

I did my research and talked to enough people to know a safe jump point to start and build gradually from. I've been on Estrofem and Spiractin and I feel pretty fantastic if I'm honest...except for this:

Spiractin is shrinking my foreskin! It's making me red and enflamed down there and doing anything once erect is basically impossible without a ton of lube and gritted teeth.

Anyone else have this sore tight itchiness from Spiractin? I'm due to order my next dose and i'm in two minds if I'm honest. Whilst I am a woman I'm making the best of my situation in terms of the tools I have at hand and my partner and I were content that I was still functioning downstairs.

In other news I have a new job that comes with private healthcare and as UK citizen who has no interest in waiting 8 years for our gender pathways service I am hoping this will prove a better fast track than self medicating and also provide the professional care I am currently missing.

Ms Grace

Sorry, no one on the site can give you a medical opinion on this. Self medicating is dangerous, there are no two ways about it. There's no way you can decide what is safe for you and in what quantity. You absolutely need to get to a doctor ASAP and get yourself checked out.
